WWE Royal Rumble 2022 is set to take place on January 29, 2022, at The Dome at America's Center in St. Louis, Missouri. It will be the thirty-Fifth event promoted under the Royal Rumble chronology.

This will also mark the largest venue to host the event in its illustrious 30+ year history. will feature wrestlers from the Raw and SmackDown brands with a select few NXT wrestlers and WWE veterans expected to appear in both the men's and women's Royal Rumble matches.



As we know Royal Rumble is produced every January since 1988 by the professional wrestling promotion WWE. It is named after the Royal Rumble match, a battle royal whose participants enter at timed intervals.

In the Royal Rumble, Both the men's and women's matches generally feature 30 wrestlers. Traditionally, the winner of the match earns a world championship match at that year's WrestleMania.

The Royal Rumble match includes a number of wrestlers (traditionally 30) who aim at eliminating their competitors by tossing them over the top rope, with both feet touching the floor. The match is typically the main event of WWE's January pay-per-view event known as the Royal Rumble. The winner of the event is the last wrestler remaining after all others have been eliminated and he gets to challenge a world champion at WrestleMania.

Similarly, the winner of the women's Royal Rumble match (first contested in 2018) is awarded a match at WrestleMania for their choice of one of WWE's top women's championships: the Raw Women's Championship, the SmackDown Women's Championship, or the NXT Women's Championship.

WWE Championship Match: Brock Lesnar(c) Vs. Bobby Lashley

Who knows? whether it's Brock Lesnar retaining the title or Bobby Lashley ending up becoming the new WWE champion at WWE Royal Rumble 2022, well, I will try to bring what could possibly occur in the match.

A true clash of the titans is set for Royal Rumble! Newly crowned WWE Champion Brock Lesnar will go head-to-head with Bobby Lashley. There is no doubt, the combined force of Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar is gonna put on a hell of a match, probably a double of what is being expected.

Nevertheless, everybody at the show would be looking for a clean winner. After Universal Champion Roman Reigns was unable to compete at WWE Day 1 due to COVID protocols, the intimidating Lesnar insisted he be added to the WWE Championship Match at the inaugural Premium Live Event.

It indicates that Lashley, who is set to challenge Lesnar for the title at Royal Rumble, could win the title once again.

WWE Raw Women's Championship: Becky Lynch (c) Vs. Doudrop

Coming up this Sunday, Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch will put her title on the line against an absolute force of nature when she battles Doudrop at Royal Rumble.

This will be her second title defense since winning the SmackDown Women's Title. On the 22 October episode of SmackDown, Lynch and Raw Women's Champion Charlotte Flair exchanged their titles, thus Lynch became the new Raw Women's Champion.

Doudrop earned the title shot when she was included in a chaotic sudden death-style Triple Threat Match against both The EST of WWE and the determined Morgan and went on to defeat them.

However, The current Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch has gone to headline several major events against some of the toughest female superstars in the company history, but two have never gone head-to-head, so, this will probably be their first showdown at the grandiose stage of them all.

If we go by the betting odds, then Becky Lynch is the favorite to win the match at -1200, while, Doudrop is at +750. Though, Big Time Becks may have a very big problem. Although no one can deny that she may be a dominant champion with a tough-as-nails ability to match every ounce of her confidence and outspoken nature.

As noted, Ronda Rousey has also been heavily rumored for the Women's Royal Rumble match, If she ends up winning the match, then A Title showdown between Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey will do great at WrestleMania 38. So, going by all odds, I would prefer to choose Becky Lynch as the winner of the match.

WWE Universal Championship Match: Roman Reigns(c) Vs. Seth Rollins

The record-breaking reign of Roman Reigns, now the longest-reigning Universal Champion in history, is set to make another title defense against Seth Rollins.

Their title showdown at the Royal Rumble event on Saturday, Jan. 29, will be their first collision since October 2019 on an edition of SmackDown, and it will also represent the first time that they’ll be waging war for the Universal Championship in a singles match.

As noted, WWE Official Adam Pearce was tasked with naming an opponent for the Universal Title for the premium live event on January 29. Arriving at the Reigns' locker room door with a knock that sounded like classic Shield entrance music, Rollins came face-to-face with his former brother-in-arms and erupted into a mad laugh. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Rollins debuted on WWE's main roster at the 2012 Survivor Series as part of a faction called The Shield, alongside Jon Moxley (FKA Dean Ambrose in WWE) and Roman Reigns. The stable was later be universally praised and became a major element of WWE in the final years of the PG Era.

Their first singles showdown came at Money in the Bank on June 19, Rollins defeated Reigns to win his second WWE World Heavyweight Championship, thus also becoming the first wrestler to legitimately defeat Reigns in singles competition on the main roster.

Also, there is no Paul Heyman slithering around ringside, ready and willing to protect the title reign of The Tribal Chief at all costs. The Usos were also barred from ringside for the encounter, create a scenario in which Reigns will be forced to go it alone for the first time in a long time. Currently, Reigns is one of the top prizes in the industry. So, I would still like to go with Roman Reigns retaining the title.
