Santos Escobar Confirms Dominik Mysterio Is Not A New Member Of Legado Del Fantasma

Dominik Mysterio's surprise appearance on this week's SmackDown has fans buzzing about his future in WWE.

During a match between Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar, Dominik interfered, helping Escobar secure the win. This twist comes despite Dominik being a member of the Raw brand's Judgment Day stable, led by Rhea Ripley.



In a post-show interview, Escobar clarified that Dominik is not joining Legado Del Fantasma, his own faction. Their alliance stemmed from a shared dislike for Rey Mysterio, according to Escobar.

“The stipulation was no LDF, and no LWO. Last time I checked, ‘Dirty Dom’ is Judgment Day. He’s not Legado Del Fantasma, he’s not LWO. But the one thing we have in common is that we both hate Rey Mysterio.”

Dominik's betrayal of his father originally unfolded in September 2022 at Clash at the Castle. The two even clashed at WrestleMania 39 earlier this year, with Rey Mysterio emerging victorious.

This latest development has WWE fans speculating about a potential inclusion of a new storyline involving these characters at WrestleMania 40.
