Samantha Ruth Prabhu To Star Alongside Vijay Deverakonda In Director Siva Nirvana's Next?

Hyderabad, March 3 - South Indian star Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been working non-stop after taking a short break. The acclaimed actress has plenty of projects to look forward to, including magnum opus, "Shaakuntalam", and a couple of others.

Now, as per the latest reports in Tollywood, the "Eega" actress will be romancing Telugu heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda in her next film. It is reported that Vijay Deverakonda would be teaming up with the "Majili" director Shiva Nirvana for a romantic entertainer.



The makers of this upcoming film reportedly wanted to rope in Kiara Advani as the female lead, however, due to her busy schedule, she said to be rejected the project. Samantha Ruth Prabhu was said to be the first choice after Kiara, and she has been roped in to romance the "Arjun Reddy" hero, according to the greatandhra.com.

Vijay Deverakonda, who will be next seen in Puri Jagannadh's "Liger", slated for August 25th release, was supposed to reunite with Puri for another film, titled "Jana Gana Mana". However, the movie is currently under pre-production work and will take some more time before going on the floors around August or September this year.

Siva Nirvana's film with Deverakonda and Samantha is expected to go on floors in April next month. Interestingly, Samantha was the leading lady in the director's "Majili", and the upcoming project will be her second collaboration with him if she officially comes on board.

Samantha, meanwhile, will next be seen in the Tamil movie "Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal", which is slated for April 28, 2022, release. It also stars Vijay Deverakonda and Nayanthara in prominent roles. The actress also has "Yashoda" under production and one more film that will mark her Hindi feature film debut.
