Stamford, December - Another week, another episode of Monday Night Raw, and Triple H and the crew certainly didn't disappoint with yet another spectacular show. The event unfolded on December 4, 2023, live from the MVP Arena in Albany, New York.

From the captivating opening segment to the riveting main event, the show aimed to deliver to the fullest extent. The highlight of the night was the main event where Seth Rollins emerged victorious against Jey Uso, successfully retaining the prestigious World Heavyweight Championship.

Additionally, Drew McIntyre and Sami Zayn engaged in a compelling 20-minute bout, showcasing their skills and stamina. Moreover, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa secured a victory in a thrilling 2-out-of-3 falls match against Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci.

Let's check out the top 5 highlights of the night;

#1. Drew McIntyre's Vicious Assault on Sami Zayn:

The night kicked off with Drew McIntyre addressing the Raw audience, expressing his frustrations about the WWE landscape. His heated promo set the tone for the evening, targeting the hypocrisy and forgiveness culture within the wrestling world. The segment escalated when Sami Zayn interrupted, leading to a confrontational verbal exchange. The subsequent match between McIntyre and Zayn showcased McIntyre's ruthless side, especially when he targeted Zayn's injured leg.

2. Drew McIntyre defeated Sami Zayn

The face started strong with a daring dive before the break, exploiting an early advantage. The imposing heel's charge backfired, crashing into the ring post, setting the stage for the smaller face to display surprising strength with a seamless vertical suplex.

Zayn countered with a swift tilt-a-whirl DDT, earning a nearfall. McIntyre retaliated with suplexes and a neckbreaker. Zayn's slingshot dive attempt was intercepted, sending him over the announce desk just before the second break.

McIntyre's spinebuster and a remarkable sit-out powerbomb earned close counts. Zayn countered an avalanche attempt, but McIntyre blocked a Blue Thunder Bomb. As the crowd cheered, Zayn, landing awkwardly on his leg, fell victim to a compassionless chop-block from McIntyre. Exploiting the injury, McIntyre swiftly closed the match with a Claymore Kick for the pinfall win.

#3. Shinsuke Nakamura and Cody Rhodes' Confrontation:

In a segment that added depth to an ongoing storyline, Cody Rhodes confronted Shinsuke Nakamura about the mysterious events involving poison mist. Rhodes, clearly disturbed by Nakamura's actions, demanded an explanation. Nakamura, appearing on the screen, delved into their shared history, connecting their paths through setbacks at WrestleMania. The segment culminated with Nakamura challenging Rhodes to prove their differences in the ring.

4. Nia Jax vs. Shayna Baszler Match and Becky Lynch's Interruption:

The match between Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler was a collision of powerhouse competitors, with Baszler strategically targeting Jax's arm. Despite Baszler's technical prowess, Jax emerged victorious, showcasing her dominance. However, the post-match segment took an interesting turn as Becky Lynch interrupted, reigniting their rivalry. Jax's decision to exit instead of facing Lynch created an engaging cliffhanger, leaving fans eager to see the continuation of this storyline.

#5. Seth Rollins vs. Jey Uso for the World Heavyweight Championship:

The main event of the evening featured Seth Rollins defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Jey Uso. The match was a showcase of athleticism, resilience, and high-impact maneuvers. Both competitors delivered a compelling performance, with near falls and dramatic moments keeping the audience on the edge of their seats. Rollins ultimately retained his title, but the post-match developments stole the spotlight. Drew McIntyre's sudden attack on Jey Uso, followed by a confrontation with Rollins, added a layer of unpredictability to the World Heavyweight Championship scene.
