News broke that Shotzi sustained a knee injury while filming a match for NXT, forcing her withdrawal from a qualifying match for the Elimination Chamber. While Shotzi won't compete, another star has been thrust into the mix.

Instead of directly replacing Shotzi, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis announced a shakeup to the card. Zelina Vega, previously scheduled to face Naomi, will now square off against Tiffany Stratton. To fill the gap, Naomi will lock horns with the rising star Alba Fyre.



Aldis hinted at a major development involving the highly anticipated return of Rock and Roman Reigns. He cryptically stated he was "cooking" something special for their SmackDown appearance, leaving fans to eagerly speculate.
