Major Casting Update On Pawan Kalyan's 'Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh' With Director Harish Shankar

Hyderabad, March 16 - Mythri Movie Makers, in September 2020, had announced Pawan Kalyan's "PSPK 28" under the direction of Harish Shankar. The film, which marks Kalyan's second collaboration with Shankar after "Gabber Singh", was titled "Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh", a year later after the announcement.
The movie was supposed to go on floors in 2021, but due to the covid-19 pandemic, and Kalyan's already announced films, director Harish's film got delayed. The movie is now readying to go on floors in June this year, for which, director Harish has started preparations.
Meanwhile, there is a major development happened regarding the primary cast of the film. While Pawan Kalyan will reportedly be seen as a Telugu lecturer, the makers have roped in Pooja Hegde as the female lead, and she is said to be playing the role of an English lecturer. Harish Shankar, however, said in a conversation with idlebrain that "It's too early to talk about their roles".
Apart from Pooja Hegde, Harish Shankar also confirmed that they are trying to rope in acclaimed actor, Pankaj Tripathi to play an important role in the film. "Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh", which is said to be a political thriller, is set in the backdrop of Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan was last seen in "Bheemla Nayak", which is currently playing in theaters. It has earned over Rs. 150 crores worldwide, becoming the biggest grosser for the Power Star. He will be also shooting for director Krish's period action drama film and have a couple of films more in the pipepine.
