Giovanni Vinci Provides An Injury Update Following An Abrupt Ending To Tag Team Bout On WWE Raw

The tag team match on the January 1st episode of WWE Raw between Imperium (Giovanni Vinci & Ludwig Kaiser) and Kofi Kingston & Jey Uso concluded abruptly.

The incident occurred when Kingston executed a dropkick that directly connected with Vinci's chin as Vinci was attempting a springboard move. The impact caused the back of Vinci's head to hit the mat on the way down.



Following the incident, a WWE official promptly checked on Vinci and made the decision to stop the bout, ultimately awarding the victory to Uso & Kingston.

Vinci later took to social media on Monday to express his gratitude to the fans and reassure them that he is fine.
