Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri Is Invited By The British Parliament To Speak About The Plight Of Kashmiri Pandits

Mumbai, March 29 - Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri's "The Kashmir Files" is getting wide acknowledgment not only in India but also by other countries. The movie, which was released on March 11, has been doing wonders at the Indian box office, and now, the British Parliament has invited the filmmaker to speak about the plight of Kashmiri Pandits, upon whom the movie is based.
Sharing the news about being invited by the British Parliament, Vivek Agnihotri told Subhash K. Jha (via Bollywood Hungama), "That's right, my wife Pallavi and I have been invited to the British parliament. We will be heading there next month. The Kashmir Files was made with the express purpose of taking the message of the Kashmir Pandits' genocide to every corner of the world. I am glad we are getting there".
"The Kashmir Files" has truly been a trendsetting film that has done exceptional business at the box office. Billed on high emotions, the movie is based on the painful exodus of Kashmiri Pandits during the insurgency in Jammu and Kashmir. The movie has grossed over 290 crores worldwide and is one of the highest-grossing films of 2022.
Produced by Abhishek Agarwal Arts in association with Zee Studios and Pallavi Joshi, and Vivek Agnihotri, the movie stars Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi, Mithun Chakraborty, Darshan Kumar, Chinmay Mandlekar, Mrinal Kulkarni, Puneet Issar, Prakash Belawadi, Bhasha Sumbli, among others in key roles.
