Director Siddharth Anand Reacts On Crazy Buzz For Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan'

Mumbai, March 10 - Director Siddharth Anand is working on his biggest film to date, Shah Rukh Khan-fronted "Pathaan". The Yash Raj Films' spy action-thriller went on floors in late 2020 and is now, gearing up to shoot the final leg of filming.

Even though the movie has been in development since 2020, YRF recently made the official announcement with the release date. From the early days of production, "Pathan" has been in the news, and buzz around it kept going up with each passing day. After the release date announcement, the fans of SRK go crazy and gave a thundering response.



Reacting to the crazy buzz and SRK's loyal fandom, Siddharth Anand said in a recent interview that the movie has been designed as the biggest action spectacle of the Hindi cinema. He said that the team knew that fans have been waiting for the announcement for a long time, so the date announcement had to be big.

"Pathaan", which is slated to hit screens on January 25th, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, also stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone in prominent roles. Anand believes that it is a big responsibility for the team to justify everything that involves Shah Rukh Khan.

"We have the most loved superstar of our generation, Shah Rukh Khan, with us. It is an honour and a responsibility for all of us. So, we really can't misstep at any point and we ensured that this video was bang for the buck for everyone who was eagerly waiting for SRK to announce Pathaan!".



"I was delighted to see how the fans cheered for their favorite superstars in the loudest possible way. We wanted to generate conversation and fan frenzy with this unit and I’m glad we have achieved this at the start of the campaign", he added.

Shah Rukh Khan is making his comeback on the big screen with the film after nearly 4 years. He was last seen in Anand L Rai's "Zero", which bombed at the box office.
