Box Office: RRR Races Past Bajrangi Bhaijaan & Secret Superstar To Become 3rd Highest-Grossing Indian Movie Of All-Time Worldwide

Mumbai, April 5 - SS Rajamouli's "RRR" has become the 3rd highest-grossing Indian film of all time at the worldwide box office. The current talk of the town has leapfrogged Salman Khan-fronted "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and Aamir Khan's "Secret Superstar" to claim the 3rd spot among the Indian movies.
The period action drama, starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles, has scored 923 crores worldwide through the second Monday. At the domestic box office, the movie has grossed 745 crores while overseas, it minted approx. 178 crores. The USA is leading the overseas chart for "RRR" with approx. 95 crores.
Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which is considered one of the finest Bollywood films of the last decade, had grossed 922.03 crores in its lifetime box office run. The overseas total of BB was higher than the domestic gross due to China, where it minted 295 crores. The total overseas cume finished at 489.47 crores against 432.46 crores gross in India.
"Secret Superstar", a musical drama film that featured Aamir Khan in the extended cameo role, had grossed 912.07 crores worldwide, including 831.47 crores overseas. It is the second highest-grossing Indian film at the overseas box office. It was released in China and scored 757.1 crores over there.
