Ana De Armas Reacts On The Rumours of Her Replacing Gal Gadot As Wonder Woman In DCEU

Los Angeles, April 24 - Hollywood star Gal Gadot is quite popular for the role of Wonder Woman in DC Extended Universe (DCEU). The actress has aced this superhero role to perfection over the years in multiple films. She last appeared as Wonder Woman in the recently released "Shazam! Fury of the Gods" and is likely to appear in the upcoming "The Flash" as well.

Despite being a popular part of the DCEU, Gal Gadot's part as Wonder Woman came to an end as DC's new co-head, James Gunn revealed that the studio would not be moving forward with the third installment of Wonder Woman anytime soon even though the script was already being written.



Meanwhile, there have been rumors that Ana de Armas, who has been busy with the promotion of Apple TV+ "Ghosted", might replace Gal as Wonder Woman. Some fans also believe that she will be a perfect fit for the role in the new DCU, and the actress finally reacts to the same.

During a recent Wired Auto Complete Interview, Ana de Armas was asked if she was going to take over the Wonder Woman role, and she replied, "Well, I feel like Gal Gadot is doing a great job. I think she should keep doing that".

As of now, the future of Wonder Woman in the new DCEU is uncertain. Safran and Gunn are in the process of reinventing the DC Universe with a new Superman that will kick in a new era when Superman: Legacy drops in theaters in 2025.
