Actor Nani Blames Lack Of Unity Among Telugu Stars For Low Ticket Price In Andhra Pradesh

Hyderabad, December 26 - The theatrical releases in Andhra Pradesh are being hit by the low ticket prices in theaters. Top of it, the Andhra Pradesh government has seized many theaters in the state, citing several reasons. This has caused problems for the distributors as they are not being able to generate enough revenue for their films.
Actors Nani, whose "Shyam Singha Roy" was released over Christmas Day weekend on December 24, has voiced his opinion over the ongoing crisis. Nani openly stated the Telugu industry is lacking unity at the moment which is causing more problems.
In an interview with greatandhra.com, the "Jersey" actor stressed that all the heroes should unite and take a stand against the government's pricing policy. He further said that the situation of theaters in the state is not only affecting the producers and distributors but also causing problems to the people who associate with cinemas.
Nani said, "Had everyone come on to a common consensus at the beginning itself, this problem wouldn't have become this big. I will be happy if my opinion regarding the unity among heroes is wrong".
The actor was indicating to Pawan Kalyan's "Vakeel Saab". Kalyan, who has been critical of the state government regarding various issues, became the victim of low ticket prices when the state government reduced prices for "Vakeel Saab" in April this year.
