New Delhi, April 20, 2021: India's Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi addresses the nation on the covid-19 situation on Tuesday. Right now, India is having a huge surge of new coronavirus cases across the country.

The country is again fighting a very big battle against Corona. A few weeks ago, the conditions had stabilized and then it became the second wave of Corona. I feel the pain you have suffered, the pain you are suffering: PM Narendra Modi. Those people who have lost their lives in the past, I express my condolences on behalf of all the countrymen. As a family member, I am involved in your grief. This time the demand for oxygen has increased in many parts of the country in the Corona crisis. This subject is being worked on rapidly and with full sensitivity. The central government, state governments, private sector, everyone is trying their best to get oxygen to every needy: PM (इस बार कोरोना संकट में देश के अनेक हिस्से में ऑक्सीजन की डिमांड बहुत ज्यादा बढ़ी है। इस विषय पर तेजी से और पूरी संवेदनशीलता के साथ काम किया जा रहा है। केंद्र सरकार, राज्य सरकारें, प्राइवेट सेक्टर, सभी की पूरी कोशिश है कि हर जरूरतमंद को ऑक्सीजन मिले: PM)



Measures are also being taken at several levels to increase oxygen production and supply. There should be new oxygen plants in the states, one lakh new cylinders should be delivered, oxygen used in industrial units should be used for medical purposes, oxygen rail, every effort is being made: PM (ऑक्सीजन प्रॉडक्शन और सप्लाई को बढ़ाने के लिए भी कई स्तरों पर उपाय किए जा रहे हैं। राज्यों में नए ऑक्सीजन प्लांट्स हों, एक लाख नए सिलेंडर पहुंचाने हों, औद्योगिक इकाइयों में इस्तेमाल हो रही ऑक्सीजन का मेडिकल इस्तेमाल हो, ऑक्सीजन रेल हो, हर प्रयास किया जा रहा है: PM)

Our scientists have developed vaccines for the countrymen in a very short time by working day and night. Today, the cheapest vaccine in the world is in India. Another important decision has been taken yesterday regarding vaccination. From May 1 onwards, anyone above 18 years of age can be vaccinated. My request to the state administration is to keep the trust of the workers alive, urge them to stay where they are. I request young comrades to help make COVID discipline in their society, by making small committees in apartments, in apartments. I want to say one thing specifically to my child friends. My child friend, create such an atmosphere at home that people without work, without reason, do not leave the house. Your stubbornness can bring huge results: PM (अपने बाल मित्रों से एक बात विशेष तौर पर कहना चाहता हूं। मेरे बाल मित्र, घर में ऐसा माहौल बनाएं कि बिना काम, बिना कारण घर के लोग, घर से बाहर न निकलें। आपकी जिद बहुत बड़ा परिणाम ला सकती है: PM)

In today's situation, we have to save the country from lockdown. I would also request the states to use lockdown as the last option. Have to try hard to avoid lockdown. And the focus is on Micro Containment Zone only: PM (आज की स्थिति में हमें देश को लॉकडाउन से बचाना है। मैं राज्यों से भी अनुरोध करूंगा कि वो लॉकडाउन को अंतिम विकल्प के रूप में ही इस्तेमाल करें। लॉकडाउन से बचने की भरपूर कोशिश करनी है। और माइक्रो कन्टेनमेंट जोन पर ही ध्यान केंद्रित करना है: PM )
