Vijay Deverakonda's 'Liger' Glimpse Becomes Most Viewed In India In The First 24-Hours

Hyderabad, January 1 - Telugu heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda's keenly-awaited "Liger" has been creating quite a buzz among the fans of Telugu as well as Hindi. The Puri Jagannadh-directed boxing action-drama film promises to be one of the biggest action spectacles of 2022.

Meanwhile, the makers of "Liger" unveiled the first glimpse of the actor's adrenaline-pumping character from the film. As expected, the action-packed glimpse received a blockbuster response from the fans, justifying the buzz the movie is carrying at the moment.



The largely positive response to the teaser helped it to become the most viewed glimpse for an Indian movie in the first 24-hours. The "Liger" glimpse got over 15.9 million views, surpassing Pawan Kalyan's "Bheemla Nayak", which had got 8.50 million views in the first 24-hours.

"Liger" is produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar, Charmme Kaur, and Jagannadh under the banners of Dharma Productions and Puri Connects. It features Ananya Panday as the female lead alongside Ramya Krishna, Ronit Roy, Ali Basha, among others in the key roles. Former American boxer, Mike Tyson is set to make his acting debut in the Indian film industry with this film.

Shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi, "Liger" will be released in theaters worldwide on August 25, 2022, also in the dubbed versions of Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
