Mumbai, January 28 - Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna's "Pushpa - The Rise" is all set to enter Rs. 100 crores club in Hindi, a milestone that no one had thought it would reach at the time of its release. Such has been a euphoria of this action thriller that even after the OTT premiere, it is minting in crores at the box office.
Directed by Sukumar, the "Pushpa - The Rise" Hindi version can be described as a box office sensation. It is because even after five weeks, the movie is showing no sign of slowness at the box office. In fact, in the 6th week, it has beaten Bollywood biggies to top the single-day biz.
On its 41st day (Republic Day), "Pushpa - The Rise" scored Rs. 1.55 crores in Hindi which is the highest for any Hindi film on a particular day. Vicky Kaushal's "Uri: The Surgical Strike" had netted Rs. 1 crore on its 41st day which was the biggest before Allu Arjun-starrer.
"Pushpa - The Rise" finished the 6th week with an estimated Rs. 5.90 crores in Hindi. It is the 2nd biggest 6th week total for a Hindi movie ever after "Uri", which netted Rs. 11.57 crores. The Hindi version of the film dropped just 16% in the 6th week which is the remarkable hold of any film let alone the dubbed version.
With theaters in Delhi having reopened again after a short shutdown and Mumbai is already holding super strong, "Pushpa - The Rise" will break into Rs. 100 crores club in its 7th week and will become the 4th dubbed Hindi version and 95th overall to achieve the feat. It currently stands at Rs. 97.44 crores after the 6th week.
Overall, "Pushpa - The Rise" is racing towards Rs. 350 crores worldwide. It has so far grossed approx Rs. 302.5 crores in India and Rs. 35 crores overseas, total Rs. 337.5 crores at the worldwide box office. In the original Telugu version, the movie has grossed approx Rs. 160 crores in India.
