Director Anil Ravipudi Wants To Make Hindi Remake Of Telugu Comedy 'F3'

Hyderabad, April 28 - Director Anil Ravipudi is a well-known name in Telugu cinema and is regarded as one of the most successful directors in the comedy genre. Ravipudi's directorial "F2: Fun and Frustration" holds a special mention in the comedy genre in Telugu cinema.

After the blockbuster success of "F2", director Ravipudi wanted to take the franchise to next level, and now is ready for its sequel, titled "F3", which is slated for May 27th release. In an exclusive interview with IANS, Ravipudi stated that he had already decided to continue the 'Fun & Frustration' series before 'F2' became a blockbuster success.



"While 'F2' was all about marital issues, 'F3' will be all about money. Each role has its own significance, and I've attempted to incorporate the most relatable aspects", Anil stated. The movie stars Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah, and Mehreen Pirzada, who reprise their roles from the first film along with Sonal Chauhan as a new addition.

Meanwhile, Ravipudi has a desire to remake "F3" in Hindi. He said that instead of dubbing the film in Hindi, he would love to direct the Hindi remake. Interestingly, "F2" was dubbed in Hindi and became a big hit on TV.

"We can easily proceed with dubbing for the film. However, this genre does not work quite like that. Comedy must be local. Different languages have different comedy situations. One scene may be quite relatable in Telugu, and thus comedy may go hand in hand, but the same scene may make no sense in other languages".

"So, remaking the film with appropriate situations and comedy tracks would be wiser. That is why, rather than releasing the dubbed version, I intend to remake 'F3' in Hindi", he added.
