Vijay Antony Confirms The Third Installment of Pichaikkaran/Bichagadu

Chennai, May 22 - Actor-filmmaker Vijay Antony is enjoying the success of his Tamil-Telugu bilingual action thriller film Pichaikkaran 2/Bichagadu 2. This movie scored a fantastic opening weekend with approx. 22 crores at the worldwide box office.

Directed by Vijay Antony who also plays the lead role, "Pichaikkaran/Bichagadu 2" is the sequel to the 2016 film that was directed by Sasi. And now, as the sequel has turned into a success, Vijay Antony has made a big announcement and confirmed the third installment of the franchise.



In a recent media interaction, while promoting the latest movie in Chennai, Vijay Antony confirmed that "Pichaikkaran 3" or "Bichagadu 3" is definitely on the cards and that the film will be going on floors in 2025. He also hinted about returning to direct the next installment as well.

The movie is produced by Vijay Antony Film Corporation and also stars Kavya Thapar as the female lead alongside Radha Ravi, Y. G. Mahendran, Mansoor Ali Khan, Hareesh Peradi, John Vijay, Dev Gill, and Yogi Babu in supporting roles.
