After receiving a lot of appreciation from the critics and audiences for the movie Khuda Haafiz, the team of Khuda Haafiz has come together for its sequel which will go on floors in the first quarter of 2021.

Producers Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak along with the director Faruk Kabir and lead actors Vidyut Jammwal and Shivaleeka Oberoi will helm the Khuda Haafiz Chapter II.

Khuda Haafiz starring Vidyut Jammwal and Shivaleeka Oberoi in leading roles along with Annu Kapoor, Aahana Kumra, and Shiv Panditt, is set during the financial crisis of 2007–2008, the film is inspired by true events and follows Sameer Chaudhary, a young man who races against time to rescue his kidnapped wife Nargis from flesh traders.

The movie was premiered on Disney+Hotstar on 14 August 2020. The film opened to mixed reviews by critics, but largely positive reviews from the audience which led makers to narrate chapter II.
