Sajid Nadiadwala Announces Kick 2 With Original Leading Cast

Director and producer Sajid Nadiadwala has announced the much-awaited sequel of Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Kick. On the occasion of Jacqueline Fernandez's 35th birthday, Sajid has locked the screen of Kick 2 with the original leading cast under his production banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment (NGE).

The sequel of this action entertainer was supposed to be announced earlier but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, makers delayed the announcement which is happening now. It will be directed by Sajid Nadiadwala himself. The sequel is supposed to go on floors in the next year.

Talking about the original Kick, it was released on 25 July 2014 and was directed and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. It is an official remake of the 2009 Telugu film of the same name.



Kick was a big super hit at the box office and was the highest-grossing Hindi film at that time with nearly Rs. 400 crore collection worldwide. The film also released in Pakistan where it broked all the records of an Indian film and collected nearly Rs. 20 crore.

The movie apart from Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez also starred Randeep Hooda, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Mithun Chakraborty in the key roles.
