Kangana Ranaut Takes A Dig At Bollywood Filmmakers For Not Releasing Their Movies In Theaters

Actress Kangana Ranaut is continuing to hit out at Bollywood filmmakers, especially Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra for unknown reasons. This time, she takes a dig at them along with top Bollywood stars for again postponing the release dates of their scheduled movies in April. Kangana's reaction came after her upcoming movie, Thalaivi's makers decided to stick to its originally scheduled release date of April 23 despite the covid-19 cases are increasing in the country.

"They did everything to throw me out of the industry, ganged up, harassed me today Bollywood ke thekedaars Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra are hiding, all big heroes are hiding but Kangana Ranaut with her team coming with 100cr budget film to save Bollywood", Kangana tweeted in response to trade analyst Taran Adarsh's tweet.

Due to the second wave of covid-19, Aditya Chopra postponed the release date of Bunty And Babli 2 which was scheduled to release on April 23. Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi starrer "Chehre" also delayed.

Talking about Thalaivi, it is a biopic of late Jayalalitha. Directed by A.L. Vijay, Kangana plays the role of Jayalalitha in the film while Arvind Swami, Prakash Raj, Bhagyashree, Madhoo, and Jisshu Sengupta are also in prominant roles. Produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri, and Shailesh R Singh, Thalaivi is scheduled to hit theaters on April 23 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
