Hyderabad, December 4 - Actress Deepika Padukone has joined the sets of "Mahanati" director Nag Ashwin's multilingual sci-fi film, tentatively titled "Project K", which stars Prabhas in the male lead role alongside megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

Deepika was spotted at the airport earlier in the morning. Later, Vyjayanthi Movies posted on social media and welcomed the actress on the sets. It is said that the actress is to participate in the first schedule of the upcoming movie in Hyderabad before she leaves for Mumbai.

It will be made with high technical values and a massive budget. The makers have set the premise in a futuristic timeline against the backdrop of the third world war.

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone will next be seen in the cricket biopic "83", which is scheduled to release on December 24, 2021, in multiple languages. She also has Shakun Batra's untitled film along with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham's "Pathan". Both will release in 2022.
