A Sequel To Nushrratt Bharuccha's Critically Acclaimed 'Chhorii' Announced

Mumbai, December 16 - Bhushan Kumar's T-Series in association with Abundantia Entertainment, Crypt TV, and A Pshych Film has announced the sequel to the critically acclaimed horror-thriller film "Chhorii", starring Nushrratt Bharuccha in the lead role.

Based on Marathi hit film film "Lapachhapi" (2017), the Hindi version received wide appreciation from critics and audiences alike, especially to Nushrratt Bharuccha who stole the show as a pregnant woman. Vishal Furia will be returning to helm the sequel. He has also written the script with Vishal Kapoor.

The shoot of "Chhorii 2" will commence sometime in the next year and it will be released in 2023. However, it is not yet confirmed whether it will be a theatrical release or a direct-to-digital release on Amazon Prime Video. It will be produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra, Jack Davis, Shikhaa Sharma, and Shiv Chanana.
