WWE NXT No Mercy 2023 Results September 30, 2023: Live Coverage, Winners, Commentary, Recap

Here are the complete results for NXT No Mercy 2023, which took place on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at the Mechanics Bank Arena in Bakersfield, California.

The event included a total of 7 matches on the card, with both the Men's and Women's Titles being defended. NXT Men's Champion Carmelo Hayes defended his title against Ilja Dragunov. Additionally, NXT Women's Champion Becky Lynch put her title on the line against Tiffany Stratton in an Extreme Rules match.



The card also featured a significant singles match between Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin. Furthermore, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio defended the North American Championship against Trick Williams, with Dragon Lee serving as the special guest referee.

Singles Match: Baron Corbin vs. Bron Breakker



Before the match starts off, Breakker attacks Baron Corbin, Bron goes to the top and performs a dive onto Corbin. They are now fighting into the crowd. Breakker takes out security people who try to stop them. Corbin with a clothesline over the barricade. Corbin goes for a senton after he knocks Bron onto the commentary desk, but misses it. Both are back into the ring and the match officially kicks off.

Breakker with a Suplex, while Corbin with a boot of his own. Corbin with a Clothesline, Corbin goes for the cover but kicks out. Breakker gets a Gorilla Press followed by a Slam for the cover, but no win there. Corbin with a DVD and goes for the cover, but Braekker kicks out again. Finally, Corbin comes out with his Deep Six, but he doesn't make the cover.

Breakker sends Corbin over the top ropes. Breakker goes out too and attempts a Spear, but misses as Corbin catches him in the air and goes for a spinebuster through the table. Both are back in the ring, meanwhile, we see Mr. Stone appear there and he drives off the top rope, but Breakker sends him out of the ring. Now, this gives Corbin a chance to capitalize on the victory, Corbin goes for End of Days for the cover and pins Breakker.



WINNER: Baron Corbin

Dominik Mysterio vs. Trick Williams (Dragon Lee as special referee)

We have the same start here, Dominik attacks Williams with a Dropkick before the match starts off. Williams comes out with a Shoulder tackle and that forces Dominik to get out of the ring. It seems like Dominik isn't interested in defending the title as he goes out.

Williams comes from behind and stops him from going out, Williams with a boot on the floor. Dominik with a 619 early in the match, goes for a superkick, but Williams sides up and it hits Lee sending him out of the ring. Williams with a kick goes for the cover, but there is no referee.

We see a new referee come out there, Once again Dominik collides with the referee and hurts him. Dominik goes to the top and performs a splash, but misses. Williams goes the cover, but again there is no referee. Dominik tries to hit Williams with the belt, but Williams works on it better as he ducks and goes for a leaping knee strike for the cover and gets the win.

WINNER: Trick Williams and the new champion

NXT Tag Team Championship Match: The D’Angelo Family (c) vs. The Creed Brothers (w/Ivy Nile) vs. OTM (w/Scrypts) vs. Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza





WINNER: The D’Angelo Family retains the NXT Tag Team Champions.

British Rounds Rules match for the NXT Heritage Cup: Noam Dar (w/Oro Mensah, Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson) vs. Butch (w/Tyler Bate)

The match begins with the first round, where Butch gains early control inside the ring. Dar attempts a cheap shot as the round ends.

Moving on to the second round, Dar goes for a Crossbody cover, but doesn't secure the win. He follows up with a Hanging DDT and a kick to the face, but Butch kicks out after Dar goes for another cover. In the third round, both wrestlers land a Crossbody. Dar goes for a near fall, but Butch counters with a superkick and a Bitter End to win the second fall.

The fourth round starts, and Dar attempts a Knee bar but misses. Dar then locks in a body scissors sleeper, but Dunne reverses it into an armbar. Dar tries a triangle choke, but Dunne stomps his way out of it. Dar attempts a Suplex but misses, and Dunne tries a triangle choke, but there's no submission as the round ends.

The fifth round begins, with Dar going for a Spinning back elbow cover, but Butch kicks out. Butch retaliates with a double underhook suplex for a near fall. Dar manages a brainbuster for a close near fall.

Round six kicks off, Dar delivers multiple elbows, and Butch responds with a German Suplex. Butch attempts a Tyler Driver ‘97 for a near fall. While Butch is locked in an armbar, Gallus appears at ringside and attacks Bate. Butch is distracted by this, and Coffey hits him with a clothesline. Dar takes advantage and covers Butch to win the match, with the referee distracted.

WINNER: Noam Dar

NXT Championship: Carmelo Hayes vs. Ilja Dragunov

The match starts as Dragunov lands a running boot, while Hayes responds with a spear. Hayes attempts a Springboard move but misses, taking a Lariat from Dragunov instead. Both wrestlers trade offense, and the crowd shows support with dueling chants.

Hayes uses a kick to bring Dragunov down, and he climbs the ropes, but Dragunov stops his move. Dragunov hits a H-Bomb for a cover, but it doesn't secure the win. Hayes recovers and delivers a kick for a cover, but Dragunov kicks out. Hayes executes a cutter off the apron to the floor. Hayes goes back up to the top rope and leaps, but this time Dragunov catches him mid-air with a clothesline.

Dragunov climbs to the top rope and lands a H-Bomb for the cover, securing the victory. Dragunov is now the new NXT Champion.

WINNER: Ilja Dragunov

NXT Women’s Title: Becky Lynch vs. Tiffany Stratton

Becky Lynch entered with a shopping cart full of weapons, carrying brass knuckles. They began to fight in the audience, with Becky initially taking control as she attacked Tiffany with various weapons. A fan handed Lynch a steel chain, which she used on Tiffany.

They eventually returned to the ring, where Tiffany produced a toolbox filled with weapons. She assaulted Lynch with these items and attempted a slam for a cover, but Lynch kicked out. Tiffany then struck Lynch's back with a steel chair. Lynch retaliated by pushing Tiffany into the shopping cart and sending it into the steel steps.

Back in the ring, Lynch slammed Tiffany onto broken Barbie dolls and went for a cover, but Tiffany kicked out at two. Tiffany tried to hit Lynch with a can, but Lynch evaded and went for a leg drop. Tiffany countered with a slam onto a trash can for a near fall.

Chairs were thrown into the ring, and Lynch locked in an armbar submission after slamming Tiffany onto the steel chairs. Tiffany managed to break free and turned it into a powerbomb onto the steel steps.

Tables were introduced into the match as Lynch pulled one out from under the ring. Tiffany attacked Lynch and set up the table, but Lynch countered with her move. Lynch then grabbed a barbed wire bat and attempted to strike Tiffany, but Tiffany avoided it. Both stars ran into the barricade, and Lynch tried to put Tiffany on the commentary table. However, Tiffany escaped and executed a Swanton Bomb from the top.

Tiffany and Lynch returned to the ring, where Tiffany climbed to the top to perform a Swanton Bomb for a cover, but she didn't get the win. Tiffany attempted another Moonsault from the top but missed this time. Lynch capitalized and executed a Manhandle Slam for a near fall. Lynch was sent into the steel chairs, and Tiffany went for a Moonsault, but missed. Lynch hit a Manhandle Slam onto the chairs for the cover and won the match.

WINNER: Becky Lynch
