Update On Giovanni Vinci, Set To Be Out A Number Of Weeks Due To Injury

During the January 1 episode of WWE Raw, Giovanni Vinci suffered an injury that resulted in him being sidelined for "a number of weeks," as announced by Michael Cole.

The injury occurred during a tag team match on January 8, where Vinci teamed up with Ludwig Kaiser against Kofi Kingston and Jey Uso. Unfortunately, the bout came to an abrupt end when Kofi Kingston's dropkick connected directly with Vinci's chin during a springboard attempt.



The impact caused the back of Vinci's head to hit the mat on the way down. A WWE official promptly checked on Vinci and decided to stop the match, awarding the victory to Uso and Kingston.

Vinci later reassured fans on Twitter that he was okay, but the exact timeline for his return to the ring remains uncertain.

Following this incident, Ludwig Kaiser sought retribution on the January 8 episode of WWE Raw, delivering a dominant performance and decimating Kofi Kingston in the process.
