WrestleMania, WWE's grandest stage, is known for bringing together the biggest names in the industry, both present and past. This year's 40th anniversary event promises to be no different, with rumors swirling about the potential involvement of three legendary figures: Steve Austin, The Undertaker, and John Cena.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there's a strong belief within WWE that these icons will all have a role to play at WrestleMania 40, taking place in Philadelphia on April 6th and 7th. However, the exact nature of their participation remains shrouded in mystery.



"Nothing is official," Meltzer reports, "but the belief right now is that Steve Austin, Undertaker and John Cena will have something at WrestleMania in some form. At press time, there is no creative locked in for Cena and Austin at this moment, or if there is it's a well-guarded secret."

Meltzer highlights that their involvement hinges on their willingness and compensation. In particular, John Cena's potential physical limitations are a factor, as his movie commitments may restrict his ability to perform a high-impact match.

The prospect of these legends returning to the WrestleMania spotlight has the potential to electrify the WWE Universe. Steve Austin, known for his brash attitude and iconic "Stone Cold Stunner," hasn't wrestled a full match since 2003. The Undertaker, an embodiment of the supernatural, retired in 2020 after a staggering 30-year career. John Cena, a 16-time world champion, has transitioned to Hollywood in recent years but continues to make sporadic WWE appearances.
