Shah Rukh Khan's Blockbuster 'Jawan' Trailer Scored Over 100 Million Views In 24-Hours

Mumbai, September 1 - The highly-awaited trailer of superstar Shah Rukh Khan's "Jawan" was launched on August 31 at 12 PM, and needless to say, it stormed social media. The trailer is filled with many mass moments, showcasing SRK in never before seen avatar.

In the first 24-hours, "Jawan" trailer scored over 102 million across social media platforms, including around 33 million views on YouTube and around 25 million views on SRK's Instagram handle in all languages. The Hindi trailer of the movie scored around 25 million views on YouTube and around 18 million views on Insta.



Shah Rukh Khan's last movie "Pathaan" scored 27.73 million views on YouTube in the first 24-hours, while the acto's most viewed movie trailer is "Zero" which generated 41 million views on the first day. "Jawan" trailer was individually shared by many handles across platforms and their combined viewership is one of the highest of all-time for an Indian movie trailer.

Directed by Atlee and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, "Jawan" tells the story of a person who sets out to rectify the wrongs in society with help from a group of women. It stars Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role, alongside Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, and Sanya Malhotra while Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt play special appearances.

The advance booking of the films has been opened nationwide and in no time, it has crossed 1 lakh tickets for the opening day which is fastest for any Hindi movie in India. The film is scheduled to release on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.
