Jacksonville, December 6 - Riho has made a surprising comeback to AEW.

The former AEW Women's World Champion returned to the company during the December 6 episode of AEW Dynamite. Her appearance came right after Toni Storm's championship match against Skye Blue. Riho intervened, chasing Toni Storm and her butler Luther out of the ring, and then laid her hands on the Women's World Championship belt.



Riho's last AEW match took place on June 14, 2023, in a dark match before AEW Dynamite. On television, she was last seen on the April 12 episode of AEW Dynamite, teaming up with Skye Blue against The Outcasts (Ruby Soho & Toni Storm).

Riho made history as the inaugural AEW Women's World Champion, securing the title on the October 2, 2019 episode of AEW Dynamite. Her reign concluded after 133 days when Nyla Rose emerged victorious on the February 12 episode of AEW Dynamite.
