Ric Flair, WWE, AEW And More React To The Passing Of Ole Anderson
Professional wrestling legend, Ole Anderson, passed away on Monday at the age of 81. He co-founded the iconic Four Horsemen stable and formed the Minnesota Wrecking Crew with his storyline brother, Gene.
After hanging up his boots, Anderson transitioned to working behind the scenes, serving as a booker for prominent promotions like Georgia Championship Wrestling and Jim Crockett Promotions. Later, he secured a leadership role in WCW.
During this week's edition of "WWE RAW," announcer Michael Cole paid his respects to Anderson on-air, followed by a visual tribute. Interestingly, Anderson had a well-documented professional rivalry with Vince McMahon (the feeling was mutual) stemming from McMahon's acquisition of GCW in 1984.
