WrestleMania 40 kicks off tonight in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, promising a two-night extravaganza packed with unforgettable matches. Held at Lincoln Financial Field, this 40th edition of the grandest stage in wrestling pulls out all the stops.

All eyes are on the main event of Night 1, featuring a tag team clash for the ages. The Rock sensationally returns to the ring for the first time in 11 years, teaming up with Roman Reigns to battle the duo of Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. The stakes are high, as a Rock and Reigns victory would transform Night 2's championship match between Reigns and Rhodes into a brutal "Bloodline Rules" No Disqualification contest.

Women’s Championship Match: Rhea Ripley vs Becky Lynch

The center of the ring erupts in chaos as competitors brawl. Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa target Finn Bálor. Kofi Kingston grabs a ladder and attacks Tyler Breeze. Grayson Waller and Theory stand in the ring with ladders while others fight outside. Pete Dunne, Ciampa, and Theory attempt to climb ladders, but Gargano stops Trent. New Day sets up a ladder but Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods accidentally knock both ladders over. Finn Bálor and Damian Priest attack New Day, throwing Kofi out of the ring. Priest targets Pete Dunne and uses a ladder as a weapon against Dunne, Ciampa, and Waller.

Finn Bálor attacks Trent Trent with a boot, but Priest misses a hip strike as Trent escapes the ladder. Trent attempts an airplane spin with Bálor holding a ladder, but Kofi Kingston collides with the ladder. Bálor releases the ladder, turning the move into a standard airplane spin. Trent throws Bálor onto the ladder.

Trent is then pulled to the floor by another competitor while Ciampa attacks Grayson Waller with chops. Trent and Pete Dunne climb a ladder outside the ring and launch themselves off with moonsaults onto the competitors below.

Bate attempts a climb but Priest delivers a Razor's Edge to Dunne into the ladder. Miz yanks Priest off the ladder but gets punched by Finn.

Truth enters the ring, tagging in for his team. He takes down Priest with a series of maneuvers, including a flying shoulder tackle, Blue Thunder Bomb, and Five Knuckle Shuffle. Truth even attempts an Attitude Adjustment onto the ladder, but no pinfall is awarded. Miz and Truth strategize, then turn their attention to retrieving the titles. Priest tries to stop them but gets double-kicked. Miz finishes him off with a Skull Crushing Finale.

Gargano and Ciampa capitalize on the chaos, targeting the Raw Tag Team Titles with superkicks and Angel's Wings to Finn. Meanwhile, Miz and Truth go for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles, but Waller and Theory thwart their attempt and climb the ladder for the gold.

Grayson Waller and Austin Theory Win Smackdown Titles

Trent Seven punches Grayson Waller, then teams with Pete Dunne to powerbomb Waller through a ladder. Dunne stays aggressive, dropkicking Kofi Kingston and sending Ciampa crashing into the barrier. Johnny Gargano takes out Dunne and Finn Balor with a cannonball, while Ciampa throws Seven into a pile of drinks. Gargano and Ciampa work together to set up tables.

Targeting Kofi Kingston, Ciampa and Gargano attempt a suplex through a table, but Xavier Woods intervenes. The chaos continues with Kofi putting Ciampa on a precarious ladder bridge and Woods launching a springboard elbow at Ciampa.

Everyone except Kofi and Woods is sent crashing to the floor. Kofi attempts a high-risk trust fall onto everyone below, but Theory cuts him off on the ladder. Dunne and Seven take down Theory with a double Burning Hammer.

Tommaso Ciampa and Trent Seven battle on top of a ladder, with Seven reaching for the titles. Ciampa counters with a devastating Super Air Raid Crash off the ladder, taking both men down. Taking advantage of the fallen competitors, Truth enters the ring, sets up a ladder, and begins his ascent. However, JD disrupts his climb with a well-timed Devil Inside maneuver.

JD assists Finn Bálor in climbing the ladder, but Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods intervene with forearms and a chair attack. They push the ladder over, sending JD crashing through tables on the floor.

Priest takes control, delivering a Razor's Edge to Kofi on a chair. He attempts to climb the ladder but Miz throws punches and challenges for the titles. However, both men tumble from the ladder. Priest maintains his aggression, kicking Truth and sending the ladder flying outside.

Capitalizing on the chaos, Truth sets up a ladder and begins his ascent. He shoves Priest off the ladder and delivers a devastating Attitude Adjustment, sending Priest crashing over the top rope. Truth reaches the pinnacle and triumphantly claims the championship titles.

WINNER: Awesome Truth win the Raw Tag Team Championship

Rey Mysterio and Andrade vs. Santos Escobar and "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio

The match opens with Rey Mysterio and Angel Santos. Santos lands a knee strike but Rey counters with a headscissors takedown. Dominik Mysterio tags in and attempts a suplex on Rey, but Rey escapes. Andrade enters the ring, chopping Dom and knocking Santos off the apron with a spinning back elbow. Rey tags back in and teams up with Andrade for a crossbody onto Dom and Santos outside the ring.

The match explodes with tension as Rey Mysterio slaps his son, Dominik Mysterio. Rey attempts a slingshot headscissors but Dom dodges it, sending him into the ring post. A brawl erupts between them with Dom countering a whip from Rey with a back heel kick. The action spills outside the ring as Rey throws a forearm but Dom retaliates, knocking Rey off the apron. Santos tags in and takes advantage, kicking Rey and sending him back into the ring.

Dom Mysterio lands a corkscrew back elbow on his father Rey Mysterio for a near fall. Santos tags in and delivers a back elbow of his own. They hit dropkicks in stereo on Rey's head, nearly securing another pinfall. Santos further torments Rey, pulling at his mask and placing him in a tree of woe. He methodically attacks Rey with kicks, a snap mare, and a seated abdominal stretch.

The match reaches a boiling point as Santos continues to taunt Rey Mysterio by pulling at his mask. Rey retaliates with punches, sending Santos into the corner. He gains momentum, landing punches and climbing onto Santos' shoulders for a near fall with a Code Red.

Andrade and Dominik tag in, with Andrade taking control. He overpowers Santos with a clothesline and a dragon screw, followed by another clothesline and a devastating running double knee strike in the corner. He nearly secures victory with an Andrade Moonsault but falls short.

Rey and Santos return to the ring. Rey executes a seated splash and a rana, sending Santos to the ropes. He then throws Dom out of the ring, isolating Santos. A well-placed 619 by Rey stuns Santos, and Andrade takes care of Dom on the outside.

Santos rallies, stopping Rey on the turnbuckles and countering with a hurricanrana for a near fall. The chaos spills outside the ring as Zelina Vega and Carliito get involved in a brawl.

Back in the ring, Santos connects with a running double knee strike, driving Rey shoulder-first into the ring post. Two masked men prevent Dom from using a chair. Rey takes advantage, sending Santos into the ropes and delivering a 619 to both Santos and a tagged-in Dominik. With a final, decisive frog splash, Rey secures the pinfall victory for his team.

Jimmy corners Jey with running hip attacks. He adds a boot to the head and throws Jey off the turnbuckles. Jimmy lands two thrust kicks followed by a superkick that sends Jey reeling. He connects with another thrust kick and attempts a splash but Jey dodges. Jey retaliates with a superkick of his own.

Jimmy and Jey Uso exchange punches in a furious brawl! Jey attempts a suplex but Jimmy escapes. They trade strikes with thrust kicks, uppercuts, back heels, and dragon whips. Jimmy lands a superkick, but Jey answers back with one of his own. Jey demands more and they trade superkicks back and forth. Jey throws everything he has at Jimmy with a running thrust kick.

However, Jimmy capitalizes on the moment with a superkick. He climbs the turnbuckles and connects with a frog splash for a near fall. Jey responds with a devastating spear, followed by his own frog splash for the pinfall victory. The win leaves Jey emotional as he stands tall over his fallen brother.

Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill, and Naomi vs. Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai, Asuka, and Kairi Sane)

The match opens with Asuka and Naomi. Naomi applies a side headlock to Asuka. Kairi tags in, but Naomi dodges and delivers a double dropkick. Naomi follows up with a dropkick to the corner, a roundhouse kick, and a split-legged moonsault for a near fall. However, Dakota Kai kicks Naomi off the turnbuckles while Kairi distracts the referee. Kairi then attacks Naomi with an elbow drop from the turnbuckles.

Bianca displays her athleticism by swinging her hair and launching a shoulder strike onto Asuka and Kairi in the corner. She pummels them with punches and flips over a charging Dakota. Bianca continues her dominance with a gutbuster on Dakota and a spinebuster on Asuka. To further display her strength, Bianca executes a press slam on Kairi, driving her onto both Asuka and Dakota. The crowd erupts as Bianca delivers a handspring moonsault onto all three opponents, but only manages a near fall.

Jade pleads for a tag but Dakota disrupts Bianca with a hair pull and nearly steals the win. Kairi and Asuka tag in, combining a Codebreaker and a blockbuster for another near fall. Asuka maintains control with a knee strike.

Bianca rallies with forearms against Asuka and Dakota, even landing on her feet after a double suplex attempt. She tags in a fired-up Jade, who throws forearms and kicks at her opponents. Jade overpowers Asuka with a choke slam but catches Kairi mid-air, delivering a backbreaker. She adds a back body drop to Dakota and a corner splash before attempting a Phantom Driver on Asuka, which only gets a near fall.

Bianca attempts a KOD on Kairi but Asuka intervenes. In the ensuing chaos, Asuka accidentally mists Kairi. Bianca capitalizes on the confusion, whipping Asuka with her hair before hitting a KOD. Jade finishes the match with a Jaded on Dakota, securing the pinfall victory for her team.

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Gunther (c) vs. Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn circles Gunther several times before they lock up. Zayn throws punches and chops, but Gunther overpowers him with a shove and a missed chop. Zayn persists with chops and punches, but Gunther takes him down. Zayn gets back up and throws more chops. He attempts a high-risk springboard leapfrog, but Gunther catches him and delivers a powerful German Suplex.

Gunther dominates with chops, uppercuts, and kicks. Zayn lands a single chop, but Gunther overpowers him again with chops. They trade chops back and forth until Zayn finally connects with a clothesline.

Gunther controls the match with chops, but Sami Zayn fights back with punches and a kick. He takes down the larger competitor with a half and half suplex, then connects with another. Gunther responds with a near-fall clothesline, but Sami refuses to stay down. Gunther resumes his assault with chops and attempts a powerbomb, but Sami cleverly blocks it. He applies a wrist lock and throws more chops before launching a tornado DDT off the ropes, stunning the champion.

Gunther throws Sami Zayn into a sleeper hold, but Zayn fights out and applies a crossface of his own. Gunther regains control with another sleeper and body scissors. Zayn struggles to his feet and desperately tries to reach the ropes. Gunther overpowers him with a German Suplex. However, Zayn shows resilience, stopping Gunther and launching him into the turnbuckles with an exploder. He sets up for his signature Helluva Kick, but Gunther counters with a dropkick and a powerful near-fall powerbomb.

Gunther surprises Sami Zayn with a Helluva Kick, a move typically associated with his opponent. Zayn responds in kind with his own Helluva Kick for a near fall. He charges for another one, but Gunther cuts him off with a clothesline and a devastating powerbomb. Gunther attempts a second powerbomb to pin Zayn, but only manages another near fall.

Gunther targets Sami Zayn's wife with insults, then brutalizes him with slaps, chops, kicks, and a chokehold. The referee warns Gunther for his excessive aggression. Despite dominating with a clothesline, powerbomb, and two frog splashes, Gunther prioritizes taunting Zayn's wife over securing the pinfall.

This proves to be a fatal mistake. An enraged Zayn rallies with a Helluva Kick to Gunther on the turnbuckles, followed by a devastating turnbuckle brainbuster. He finishes the match with a pair of Helluva Kicks, the last one sending Gunther crashing to the mat for the pinfall victory. Sami Zayn is the new Intercontinental Champion!

The Bloodline (The Rock and Roman Reigns) vs. Cody Rhodes and Seth "Freakin" Rollins

The WrestleMania main event kicks off with all four participants locked in an intense stare down. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns grapple with headlocks, but neither gains the upper hand. After a tense stalemate, Rollins breaks free and lands a surprise kick to Reigns' gut. Following the strike, Rollins tags in his partner, Cody Rhodes. Rhodes and Reigns circle each other cautiously before Rhodes unleashes a flurry of strikes.

Reigns responds with a powerful clothesline, driving Rhodes into the corner. Undeterred, Rhodes locks up with Reigns in a test of strength, but Rollins shows impatience and tags himself back in. The Rock, eager to enter the fray, calls for a tag from Reigns, who obliges. As The Rock steps into the ring, a fired-up Rollins circles him with a menacing laugh.

Roman headlocks Cody. Cody knees Roman's midsection, then forearms. Roman dodges clothesline, confused. They lock up in Greco-Roman knuckle lock, Cody to wrist lock. Seth tags in, overpowers Roman with partner, forces corner. Rock wants in. Seth locks up, Rock slams him. Seth headlocks, Rock shoves away.

They lock up, Rock corners Seth, kicks midsection. Seth punches, Irish whips, Rock clotheslines. Rock tags Cody. They lock up, stalemate. Cody punches, Rock kicks. Cody kicks, uppercuts. Cody corners Rock, throws in turnbuckles, punches.

Seth tags in and attacks. He and Cody hit Rock and Roman with double offense. They throw Roman out and Seth throws Rock into the drinks. Cody sends Roman into the ring apron and they both head up the ramp.

Rock threatens the referee. The brawl spills outside the ring. Cody slams Roman on the ramp. Seth throws Cody into the crowd. Rock and Seth fight near a table. Seth throws an elbow and sends Rock into the table and guardrails. Cody throws Roman into the set.

The fight continues. Seth punches Rock, who retaliates. Roman attempts a suplex on the stage but Cody counters with his own suplex. Rock grabs a trash can and hits Seth. Seth fights back, sending Rock into the guardrail. They trade punches before Rock spits water on Seth.

The brawl moves to ringside. Seth delivers a double sledgehammer off the barrier.

Seth Rollins sends Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson flying into the ringside barrier. Rock recovers and re-enters the ring. Rollins talks trash to Rock before getting clipped by Roman Reigns' clothesline. Rollins clutches his knee in pain, but Rock capitalizes with a kick. Rock tags in Reigns who targets Rollins' knee with a series of kicks and leg twists. Reigns utilizes the ring post to further injure Rollins' knee.

Rock and Reigns take turns punishing Rollins' leg, with Rock applying a single leg crab. Rollins fights out of the hold but gets cut off by Reigns who throws him over the top rope. Outside the ring, Rock rams Rollins into the steel steps twice. Back in the ring, Reigns whips Rollins into the turnbuckles before applying a leg wrench. Rock adds another kick to Rollins' injured knee. The dominance continues as Reigns locks in a single leg crab.

Reigns pummels Rollins with clotheslines in the corner. He sets up for his Superman punch, but Rollins ducks and counters with a neck breaker. Rock tags himself in and drags Rollins back to his corner. Rock unloads with punches and elbows targeting a vulnerable area. They trade punches back and forth in a slugfest.

Rock gains the upper hand with a flurry of punches, but Seth responds with a Pele Kick. Seth throws Roman out of the ring near Cody. Roman cuts off Cody from tagging in by yanking him off the apron. Rock locks Seth in a Sharpshooter. Cody breaks the hold with a slap, causing Rock to drop Seth onto the top turnbuckle. Despite delivering a superkick and Stomp, Seth is too injured to capitalize. Roman and Cody tag in. Cody throws punches at Roman. He follows up with a running forearm and a flying powerslam before finishing him off with Beautiful Disaster.

Cody attempts a Cody Cutter and connects for a near fall. He then sets up for a CrossRhodes, but Roman counters with a snap mare toe scrape. Cody tries a Beautiful Disaster, but Roman nails him with a Superman punch for another near fall.

Roman, bleeding from his nose, gears up for a spear. Cody counters with a sunset flip for a near fall. Cody bounces off the turnbuckles and hits a springboard Cody Cutter. Seth tags himself in and delivers a frog splash for yet another near fall.

Roman executes a powerbomb and prepares for a spear. Seth intervenes with a kick, prompting Cody to tag in. Cody and Seth land a double superkick on Roman. Seth follows up with a Stomp and Cody attempts a CrossRhodes, but The Rock pulls the referee out of the ring. Roman delivers a low blow to Cody and a spear. The Rock forces the referee back in, but Cody kicks out at two.

Roman punches Cody and applies a guillotine choke. Cody appears to lose consciousness, but his arm doesn't go limp. Rock pulls Cody down to tighten the hold. Seth stomps Roman, who then throws Seth out of the ring. Rock tags himself in.

Rock confronts Cody's family before grabbing a weight belt stained with Cody's blood. Cody grabs the belt, but Rock punches him. Cody retaliates with jabs and hits a Bionic Elbow. Rock counters with a spinebuster and sets up for the People's Elbow, but Cody cuts him off with a Cody Cutter. Cody demands Rock to get up and attempts a CrossRhodes, but Roman blasts him with a Superman punch.

Roman attempts a spear, but Seth pushes Cody out of the way. Roman accidentally spears Rock. Seth and Cody capitalize with Pedigrees for near falls. Cody aids Seth to his feet. Seth dives off the top turnbuckle with a crossbody onto Roman. Outside the ring, Rock blindsides Cody with a thumb to the eye and rams him into the steel steps. Rock tears the cover off the Spanish announce table.

Rock spits on Cody and drives his head into the announce table. He taunts Cody's mother before positioning Cody on the table for a Rock Bottom. Seth intervenes, grabbing Rock's leg. Cody capitalizes with a Rock Bottom of his own, putting Rock through the announce table. Roman responds by spearing Seth through the ringside barrier.

Cody sends Rock's partner Roman into the ring, then follows himself. Roman delivers a Drive By to Cody before tagging Rock in. Rock dominates Cody with kicks and punches. Cody blocks a punch and lands one of his own. They trade blows back and forth until Roman connects with an uppercut.

Cody rallies with two CrossRhodes on Roman, but Rock disrupts his attempt at a third by whipping him with the weight belt. Roman capitalizes with a Spear and tags Rock back in. Rock waits for Cody to rise before setting up a Rock Bottom, which he executes perfectly. Rock soaks in the crowd's energy before delivering the People's Elbow and securing the pinfall victory.
