Mumbai, August 31 - The 67th Filmfare Awards winners have been announced and it has left a section of people disappointed regarding the Best Actor. Ranveer Singh, who played the role of legendary Indian cricketer Kapil Dev in "83", has been awarded the Best Actor award, however, many people believe that it was Sidharth Malhotra who deserved this honor most for "Shershaah".

Sidharth Malhotra played the role of the Kargil war hero, Param Vir Chakra awardee Vikram Batra and his twin brother Vishal in the Vishnuvardhan-directorial film. Sidharth's performance in the film is regarded as the finest act of his career.



The actor was nominated for the Best Actor award with Ranveer Singh (83), Dhanush (Atrangi Re), and Vicky Kaushal (Sardar Uddham), but it was Ranveer, who grabbed the honor at 67th Filmfare Awards 2022. This didn't go well with people who were sure about Sidharth's chances for the award. They took to Twitter and expressed their disappointment on the same.
