Mumbai, March 11 - After a couple of hits in 2022, Bollywood is hoping for a much better result in 2023 at the box office, and thankfully, there are at least half a dozen films that could potentially emerge mega hits.
Things have started on a blockbuster note with Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan emerging as one of the biggest blockbusters of all time in Indian cinema. King Khan has at least one more film this year in the form of Jawan, for which, the expectations are no less than Pathaan.
Among the potential blockbuster films this year, director Ali Abbas Zafar's mass entertainer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff is carrying a lot of expectations as far as the box office numbers are concerned.
In the post covid-19 pandemic times, box office success has been hard to come by as most of the films died down on the opening day itself due to a lack of excitement among moviegoers. The makers of BMCM are making sure that there is no such case and are putting efforts to create buzz among the audiences.
Ever since the makers started the filming of BMCM, they have been sharing working stills which are creating excitement. It is not that only sharing working stills create buzz, but some of the pictures makers have shared on social media are making everyone believe that they are building something big which is larger than life, and something which moviegoers want to see on the big screen.
Apart from the officially shared pictures, the leaked footage from the shoot locations is further helping the movie to reach the widest audiences possible. There is still some time left for the movie to release and the makers have enough opportunity to keep the buzz high which is the most important thing in today's time.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is produced by Pooja Entertainment and it marks the studio's fourth straight collaboration with Akshay after Bell Bottom, Cuttputlli, and the upcoming Capsule Gill. It is, however, the first time that Akshay, Tiger, and Abbas Zafar joined hands. The movie also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manushi Chhillar, and Sonakshi Sinha in prominent roles. It is scheduled to release on Christmas this year in multiple languages.
