Kate Winslet's First Look Photos As Na'vi Warrior Ronal From 'Avatar 2' Revealed

Los Angeles, July 1 - Actress Kate Winslet reunites with her "Titanic" director James Cameron for the highly-anticipated global blockbuster "Avatar: The Way of Water". The Oscar-winning actress is the new and one of the most talk-about additions in the "Avatar 2".
The Empire magazine has now revealed the first-look photos of Winslet as a Na'vi warrior Ronal from the movie. The magazine describes Winslet's character as a "deeply loyal and fearless leader", who along with Cliff Curtis' Tonowari, leads the Metkayina tribe, who dwell in the shallows of Pandora's vast oceans".
Winslet tells Empire about her role, "She is strong, a warrior. Even in the face of grave danger, and with an unborn baby on board, she still fights for what she holds most dear. Her family and their home". Winslet stars in the long-awaited sequel opposite returning cast members Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, and more.
Talking about her reunion with James Cameron after shattering box office with "Titanic", Winslet said, "Jim and I are both totally different people now to who we were 26 years ago. He is calmer, and I am definitely more hyperactive now!"
ICYDK, Kate Winslet learned to hold her breath underwater for "Avatar 2" and ended up breaking Tom Cruise's record for the longest underwater breath-hold in a feature film, which he set while filming "Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation". She held her breath for seven minutes and 14 seconds underwater, breaking Cruise's record of 6 minutes.
Disney's official synopsis for the "Avatar" sequel reads, "Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, 'Avatar: The Way of Water' begins to tell the story of the Sully family, the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive and the tragedies they endure".
The film will debut in theaters on December 16, 2022, in over 100 languages.
