Drew McIntyre, one of WWE's top heels heading into WrestleMania 40, has raised eyebrows with his pre-Mania training partner.

After injuring CM Punk at the Royal Rumble and expertly riling up fans on social media, McIntyre has shared a gym video featuring a surprising workout buddy – AEW's Brian Cage.



The caption on McIntyre's post reads: "#WrestleMania week and the beast has been let out the CAGE," with the video showing him discussing unleashing the beast before Cage assists him with bench presses.

Cage also took to Twitter, writing: "Body guy sh*t! #NEWCHAMP"

This cross-promotional gym session adds another layer of intrigue to McIntyre's upcoming challenge against Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania.
