Box Office: Vishal and SJ Suryah's 'Mark Antony' On Course To Top 100 Crores Worldwide

Chennai, September 24 - Tamil actors Vishal and SJ Suryah teamed up for the first time for a sci-fi action black comedy film Mark Antony. Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, the movie has turned out to be the biggest blockbuster for Vishal who was nowhere near the game.

"Mark Antony" has crossed 75 crores gross mark at the worldwide box office in 9 days, and it is Vishal's first success in a long time. The actor's last theatrical success came before the COVID-19 pandemic and since the pandemic, the actor had four releases which all were box office failures.



Produced by Mini Studio, "Mark Antony" has grossed approximately 48 crores in Tamil Nadu state while its total domestic collection is around 64 crores gross in 9 days. Overseas, the movie has amazed approximately 13 crores for a total of 77 crores worldwide cume.

"Mark Antony" has already become Vishal's highest-grossing movie of all time, and it is poised to top 100 crores gross in the coming days. Needless to say, it will be Vishal's first 100 crores grosser and a big moral booster for him after back-to-back flops.

The movie stars Vishal and SJ Suryah in dual roles. Ritu Varma and Abhinaya are the female leads, while Sunil and Selvaraghavan play important roles. Mark Antony's music is scored by national award winner GV Prakash Kumar. The film is of the science-fiction genre and follows the story of Mark, who finds a phone that can help manipulate time.
