Box Office: 'Guntur Kaaram' Sets Record Opening For Mahesh Babu In The USA

Los Angeles, January 11 - Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu is all set to have a record opening with his latest movie Guntur Kaaram in the USA. Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, the action drama is set for its North American premiere on January 11.

According to Venky Box Office, Guntur Kaaram pre-sales for the premiere are approximately $1.20 million, including $1.06 million in the USA alone. The movie has become Mahesh Babu's record premiere day in advance sales only in the USA, beating Spyder which grossed $1 million on premiere day in 2017.



Guntur Kaaram is heading towards a $1.5+ million premiere day collection in North America, which shows the huge anticipation for the movie among the audiences. If the movie gets positive word of mouth, then it is up for a big lifetime collection over there.

In India, the movie is bracing up for a huge start in Telugu states. The bookings for the same are in riot mode, already grossing over 18 crores, including approximately 16 crores in two Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana) alone.

Produced by Haarika & Hassine Creations, the movie stars Mahesh Babu, Sreeleela, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishna, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, and Brahmanandam in key roles. It is scheduled to be released on January 12 at the worldwide box office.
