Box Office: 'Animal' Scored Third Biggest First Week For A Bollywood Film

Mumbai, December 8 - Ranbir Kapoor's Animal scored the third biggest first-week collection for a Bollywood movie in all versions and the third biggest in Hindi. It has become only the third film to cross 300 crores net and the 11th film to cross 200 crores net collection in week one (7 days) in Hindi.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role, Animal minted approx. 337.60 crores net in all versions, including 300.81 crores net collection in Hindi. The closest to Animal's first-week collection is Gadar 2 which scored approx. 284.60 crores net which is the 4th highest in Hindi.



Animal is on track to enter the 500 crores net club which will make it only the 4th Bollywood movie after Pathaan, Gadar 2, and Jawan to do so. The film will be looking to beat the numbers of Gadar 2 which is the biggest second-week grosser for a Bollywood film and Animal will be eyeing to go past these numbers.
