'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' Confirmed To Be The Second Longest Film In The MCU

Los Angeles, September 28 - Marvel Studios' highly-anticipated Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has started gaining momentum as the release date is getting nearer which is November 11, 2022.
The superhero movie directed by Ryan Coogler has been confirmed to be the second longest film in Marvel Cinematic Universe history. As per the major theater chains, the film's theatrical runtime is 2 hours and 41 minutes, and this has been confirmed by Disney (via The Hollywood Reporter).
The sequel to 2018's film is behind only Avengers: Endgame which has a runtime of 3 hours and 1 minute. It is also 26 minutes longer than the groundbreaking "Black Panther" (2 hours and 15 minutes), which grossed over $1.34 billion at the worldwide box office and remains the second highest-grossing solo superhero movie of all time.
In 2022, Warner Bros.' DC superhero movie The Batman holds the record for the longest superhero movie with a running time of 2 hours 56 minutes. The overall record holder for the longest superhero film is Zack Snyder's Justice League, which runs four hours and two minutes, although the director's cut never played in cinemas.
Meanwhile, the two highest-grossing films during the covid-19 pandemic era - Spider-Man: No Way Home and Top Gun: Maverick have had runtimes of 2 hours and 28 minutes, and 2 hours and 11 minutes, respectively. While "No Way Home" grossed $1.9 billion, "Top Gun 2" is still playing in theaters and has grossed $1.47 billion so far.
