SS Rajamouli's 'RRR' Gets Best Picture Nomination By Hollywood Critics Association

Hyderabad, June 29 - The international appreciation for SS Rajamouli's epic blockbuster RRR has truly been remarkable so far. The movie has been hailed as one of the finest cinematic experiences by some of the biggest Hollywood names and now, the is getting its due in award shows.

The Hollywood Critics Association has revealed its full list of nominees for the 5th Annual Hollywood Critics Association Midseason Awards. Rajamouli's period action drama film has been nominated for the Best Picture category awards. It has been nominated along with "Top Gun Maverick", "The Batman", "Turning Red", and "Everything Everyone All At Once, among 5 others.

"In a year where audiences are returning to theaters, we couldn't be happier to be celebrating our never-ending love of film and this year's Midseason Awards nominees showcase a wide variety of films that include blockbusters and indie gems", said HCA co-founder, Ashley Menzel.

Each June, the members of the Hollywood Critics Association come together to take a look back on the films released during the first half of the calendar year. During the second to last week of June, the members of the HCA vote on the films that they believe stood out as some of the best that the year had to offer so far.
