Rashmika Mandanna To Headline Tamil-Telugu Bilingual Movie 'Rainbow'

Chennai, April 3 - Talented actress Rashmika Mandanna has been attached to headline Dream Warrior Pictures' rom-com drama Rainbow. The Tamil-Telugu bilingual movie will be directed by debutante Shantharuban and it will feature Dev Mohan opposite Rashmika as the male lead.

Rainbow is touted to be a unique cinematic experience for audiences of all ages. It is a breezy romantic fantasy that will be told from the girl's perspective.



"For the first time, I am playing the protagonist where the story is shot in the girl's perspective. I am so so excited to bring this character alive for all of you. Rainbow is definitely such a movie that will both entertain and excite you. The journey of the audience with the girl is going to be a crazy ride so bucket up all, this is going to be a fun ride", Rashmika said in a statement.

Director Shantharuban said, "Rainbow will be one of a kind romantic fantasy story in Telugu cinema. You will see Rashmika's most mature performance yet. The movie will tug your heartstrings and at the same time enthrall you with its inventive storytelling".

Rainbow has commenced production with a formal pooja today and the shooting will kick off on April 7, 2023. It will be released later this year.
