Mumbai, May 12 - After putting excellent box office collection in the first week, blockbuster film The Kerala Story begins the second weekend on a solid note with collections in a similar range as yesterday.

The film is showing a remarkable trend in the second weekend, and despite a number of new releases, The Kerala Story scored an estimated 12-13 crores net collection on its second Friday. The total collection of the movie now reached over 93 crores and it will be hitting the 100 crores mark tomorrow.



Directed by Sudipto Sen, TKS is putting on a strong show all over, especially in the Maharashtra region. The advance booking for Saturday and Sunday is super solid, indicating a huge second weekend on the card, and will easily top the first-weekend collection.

As said earlier, TKS will be looking to score the biggest second week for an Indian movie of 2023 by challenging Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" second-week collection of 91.50 crores net. It will also easily end up becoming the second-biggest Bollywood movie of the year, behind only "Pathaan".
