Shahid Kapoor To Play A Double Role In Anees Bazmee's Comedy Entertainer

Mumbai, February 7 - Last year, it was reported that Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor would be joining hands with director Anees Bazmee for a big-ticket comedy entertainer. The duo has been in talks since then to collaborate on one of its kind comedy and things are heading in the right direction.

Now, according to Pinkvilla, Shahid Kapoor will be stepping into playing a double role in the movie. It will be the first time when the talented actor will be essaying a double role in his career. It is said that Shahid is super excited to play a dual role in the movie.



The yet-untitled film is expected to start filming by June this year after Shahid wraps up his robotic romantic film for Maddock Films, co-starring Kriti Sanon. He is also expected to finish the "Mumbai Police" remake by then.

The makers are in talks to cast a top Bollywood actress to play the female lead. The report claims that they are already in conversation with two of the top actresses in today's time. The female lead too will be locked by end of this month. The movie is said to be produced by Telugu producer Dil Raju.
