India Men And Women Will Tour New Zealand In January 2019

India men's and women's team are all set to tour New Zealand in later in the month of January 2019. Both the teams will play ODIs and T20Is.

The tour will begin from January, 23 as Men's team is schedule to play five one-dayers and three Twenty20 while women's team will play three one-dayers and as many T20s.

All the three T20Is - played in Wellington, Auckland and Hamilton - will be double headers. The women's team will play their ODIs in Napier, Mt Maunganui and Hamilton. One-dayers at each of the venue will be preceded by a game of the men's team.

NEW ZEALAND-INDIA SCHEDULE 2019 :

1st ODI January 23 in Napier

2nd ODI January 26 in Mount Maunganui

3rd ODI January 28 in Mount Maunganui

4th ODI January 31 in Hamilton

5th ODI February 3 in Wellington

1st T20I February 6 in Wellington

2nd T20I February 8 in Auckland

3rd T20I February 10 in Hamilton

India's stand-in skipper in limited overs cricket, Rohit Sharma has become the highest run scorer in T20Is. During his 50 runs knock off 29 balls, he overtook New Zealand's Martin Guptill to reach the landmark.

During his blitzing knock in the second T20I against New Zealand in Eden Park, Auckland, Sharma hit four sixes and became the only the third batsman to hit 100 sixes in the shortest format of the game.

Kuldeep Became The Second Fastest Indian To Claim 50 Wickets In ODIs

23-year old left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav has become the second fastest Indian bowler (in terms of matches) to take 50 wickets in ODIs after Ajit Agarkar.

Kuldeep Yadav took 24 matches to reach the landmark while Agarkar did this in 23 matches for India.

Overall he is joint 3rd fastest among all bowlers and also 3rd in the list among the spinners to take 50 wickets. He reached this milestone during the match against Hong Kong in Asia Cup 2018 on Tuesday, September 18.

However, Hong Kong made Indian bowlers hard for wickets but Yadav's 2 wickets along with Chahal and Khaleel Ahmed's 3 wickets each saved India from a humiliating defeat.
