Salman Khan starrer Radhe has already opted for simultaneous release in theaters and on digital platforms on May 13.
And now, Kriti Sanon starrer "Mimi" is also heading for direct-to-digital release. It is said that producer Dinesh Vijan wanted the movie to release in theaters, but the second wave has now quashed all his plans.
Mimi will now be premiering exclusively on Jio Cinema and Netflix on July 30. The trailer of the film will be out on July 13.
Directed by Laxman Utekar, Mimi is loosely based on the Marathi film Mala Aai Vhhaychy! (2011). It stars Kriti Sanon as a surrogate mother alongside Pankaj Tripathi, Sai Tamhankar, Manoj Pahwa, and Supriya Pathak.
