Alastair Cook who is playing his last Test for England becomes the only fifth player to score a century in his debut and last match. He completed his 33rd and final Test century against India on Monday, September 10 at The Oval.
Cook missed out to score a century in the first innings where he scored 71 but he did not let go the opportunity in the 2nd and final inning of his career. He scored his maiden ton against the same opponent in 2006 at the Nagpur.
England's all-time leading run scorer in Test had announced his retirement after the 4th Test against India. Apart from runs, Cook is also leading Century getter for England (33 Century).
