Mumbai, July 2 - R. Madhavan's "Rocketry: The Nambi Effect" shows big gains on its second day at the domestic box office and scored an estimated 3 crores net (+73% vs Friday) for all languages.
The biographical drama film has had a decent start with 1.73 crores net, including 90 lakh in the Hindi version. On its second day, the Hindi version witnessed a jump of around 75% for an estimated 1.60 crores net.
The Tamil version also witnessed a very good jump of around 66% for an estimated 1.25 crores net on Saturday. The other versions scored an estimated 15 lakh on Saturday. The total collection of the film is now at a little over 4.70 crores net.
Directed by R. Madhavan, the movie is based on the life of Nambi Narayanan, a former scientist and aerospace engineer of the Indian Space Research Organisation, who was accused in the ISRO espionage case and later exonerated.About This Movie
