Wes Lee Returns To NXT On 10/31 Halloween Havoc, Sets Sights On North American Title

Las Vegas, 31 October - Wes Lee made his WWE return at NXT Halloween Havoc on October 31, 2023.

During the show, Dominik Mysterio defended his North American Championship against Nathan Frazer. They began the match by grappling on the mat, with Frazer eventually locking Dom in a side headlock. Frazer countered Dom's moves with agility, including a dropkick and a flying shoulder tackle that sent Dom out of the ring.



Despite Rhea Ripley's interference, Dom managed to evade Frazer's attacks. Dom took control with kicks and a reverse chin lock, but Frazer fought back. The match saw a flurry of strikes, suplexes, and counters, with Dom ultimately gaining the upper hand and securing the win with a frog splash.

After the match, Wes Lee made a surprise appearance, attacking Dom, and taking possession of the North American Title belt.

Wes Lee had been on hiatus since his last appearance on the September 12 episode of WWE NXT, where he lost to Ilja Dragunov, costing him the opportunity to compete for the NXT Championship. Now, he has a chance to regain the title, as Mysterio initially defeated Lee with assistance from The Judgement Day.
