WWE WrestleMania 39 (Night 1) Confirmed Match Card

Singles Match: Seth "Freakin" Rollins vs. Logan Paul

The tension between Rollins and Paul had been simmering for a while, ignited by comments made by the internet sensation on social media that did not sit well with The Visionary. Rollins eventually took to the mic to voice his displeasure, but matters escalated further when Logan eliminated him from the 2023 Royal Rumble Match.

Things reached a boiling point when Logan resurfaced to attack Rollins at WWE Elimination Chamber, leading to him losing the United States Title. In the weeks that followed, Rollins vented his frustrations by targeting The Miz, but he also took things to the next level by "borrowing" The A-Lister's phone and challenging Paul to a face-to-face confrontation on an upcoming episode of Raw.

As they faced off in the ring for a heated exchange, Logan Paul opted not to engage in a verbal sparring match with The Visionary and instead proposed a high-stakes showdown against Rollins at WrestleMania. However, before any agreement could be reached, the tension boiled over and a physical altercation erupted. Logan Paul delivered a devastating blow that sent Seth Rollins crashing to the mat, leaving the WWE Universe stunned.

According to the current betting odds, Seth Rollins at -450 is the favorite to win against Logan Paul who stands at +275.

United States Championship Match: Austin Theory(c) vs. John Cena

The night will be huge for the wrestling fans they see John Cena challenging Austin Theory for the United States Championship.

On the March 6, 2023, edition of Monday Night Raw, John Cena returned to WWE during The Road to WrestleMania. During the segment, Austin Theory challenged John Cena to a match at WrestleMania which he accepted.

The last time we saw Cena in a WWE ring was when he and Kevin Owens defeated the team of Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns & Sami Zayn on the Dec. 30 edition of SmackDown.

WWE SmackDown Women's Championship Match: Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Rhea Ripley

The SmackDown Women's Champion, Charlotte Flair, will face Rhea Ripley, who won the Royal Rumble, at WrestleMania, giving Ripley an opportunity for redemption.

In a spectacular fashion, Ripley won the Royal Rumble, starting out as the first entrant and lasting a grueling 61 minutes and eight seconds. She eliminated No. 2 entrant Liv Morgan to secure her victory. Ripley's win was all the more astonishing because earlier in the evening, she had been speared by WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix.

Ripley and Flair have a significant, albeit one-sided history, as Ripley has never defeated Flair. Three years ago, the tables were turned when Flair won the 2020 Women’s Royal Rumble Match and challenged then-NXT Women’s Champion Ripley at WrestleMania 36. On that night, Ripley lost to Flair and has never defeated her since.

The stakes couldn't be higher for Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania as she aims to finally defeat Charlotte Flair and capture the SmackDown Women's Championship. It's a match that has been building for months, with Ripley calling out Flair for being a coward and avoiding her. Now, the two will finally meet in the ring with everything on the line. Ripley is known for her strength and toughness, but Flair is a master strategist and has a wealth of experience in big matches. It will be a battle of wills as both competitors look to outsmart and outfight the other.

According to the betting odds, Rhea Ripley at -1000 is the favorite to defeat Charlotte Flair who stands at +500.

Six-Woman Tag Team Match: Trish Stratus, Lita & Becky Lynch vs. Damage CTRL

Trish Stratus will have her first match in a long time when she teams with Becky Lynch and Lita against Dakota Kai & IYO SKY and Bayley at WWE WrestleMania 39.

On February 27, 2023, Stratus made her return on Raw, helping Lita and Becky Lynch defeat Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky) by taking out Damage CTRL's leader, Bayley, who tried interfering.

On the March 6 episode of Monday Night Raw, she announced that she would be coming out of retirement to team with Lita and Lynch to face Damage CTRL (Bayley, Kai, and Sky) in a six-woman tag team match at WrestleMania 39.

Singles Match: Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio

The long-simmering tension between Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik has finally boiled over, and the two will face off in a highly personal showdown at The Showcase of the Immortals. Dominik's betrayal of his father has left Rey feeling hurt and disrespected, but he's determined to use this match to teach his son a lesson in humility.

Meanwhile, Dominik sees this as his chance to prove that he's a superstar in his own right and to assert his independence from his father's shadow. As the date of the match approaches, fans are on the edge of their seats, wondering which of these two talented wrestlers will emerge victorious.

When Dominik first burst onto the WWE scene, he embodied everything a father could hope for in a son. Together, he and Rey formed an incredible duo and went on to become the first-ever father-son team to capture the SmackDown Tag Team Championship. However, despite their triumphs, Dominik began to feel constrained under Rey's tutelage, and before long, the promising young wrestler committed the unthinkable by betraying his own father.

After breaking away from his father, Dominik aligned himself with "Mami" Rhea Ripley and The Judgment Day faction. From there, he wasted no time in subjecting his legendary father to a constant mix of brutal attacks and humiliation. Dominik accused Rey of being a "deadbeat dad," and even went as far as crashing family holiday dinners with Ripley on his arm. Furthermore, he cost Rey several matches and interrupted his response after being announced as the newest member of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2023.

Despite Dominik's repeated provocations, the legendary Superstar always maintained his moral compass and refused to retaliate or resort to violence against his own son. However, after much deliberation and with a heavy heart, he reluctantly acquiesced to the idea of a contest in order to impart a valuable lesson to his son.

Men's WrestleMania Showcase fatal four-way tag team match: Braun Strowman and Ricochet vs. The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) vs. Alpha Academy (Chad Gable and Otis) vs. The Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar) (with Valhalla)

In one of two WrestleMania Showcase matches to occur at The Grandest Stage of Them All, four of the most impressive tag teams in WWE will battle in a Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match.

The teams of Braun Strowman & Ricochet, The Street Profits, Alpha Academy and The Viking Raiders will collide in Los Angeles at The Showcase of the Immortals.

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship Match: Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn Vs. The Usos(c)

The Grandest Stage of Them All will host a highly-anticipated showdown to determine the future of the titles and perhaps The Bloodline itself. The Usos, the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, will face off against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, who have recently reunited as brothers-in-arms.

Just six weeks ago, this matchup would have been considered impossible. Sami Zayn was fully aligned with The Bloodline as their "Honorary Uce," while Kevin Owens was fighting against the dominant faction by himself. However, everything changed at the Royal Rumble when Zayn decided not to participate in a post-match attack on Owens, instead choosing to strike Roman Reigns with a steel chair. This move completely shattered Zayn's allegiance to The Bloodline and set the stage for the upcoming showdown between the two teams.

Despite the shift in Zayn's allegiance, Owens remained resolute in his decision to take on The Bloodline alone and rejected any attempts at reconciliation with his former ally, despite Rhodes' tireless efforts. However, when Owens charged in to save Zayn from the 2-on-1 Uso attack, the two finally embraced and were reunited. The next night on Raw, the powerful duo issued a challenge to the historic titleholders, with Jey Uso emphatically accepting the challenge after overruling his brother Jimmy's objections.

According to the betting odds, Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens at -2000 are the favorite to win against The Usos (c) who stand at +700.

WINNER PREDICTION: Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens

WWE WrestleMania 39 (Night 2) Confirmed Match Card

Undisputed WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns(c) Vs. Cody Rhodes

After emerging victorious from a field of 29 other Superstars in the 2023 Royal Rumble Match, Cody Rhodes has earned the chance to fulfill his aspirations by challenging the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, on the most grandiose platform of them all.

Reigns, widely regarded as one of the most dominant World Champions in history, is currently basking in the glory of a legendary title reign. He has triumphed over formidable opponents such as Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Kevin Owens, Drew McIntyre, and a host of others in epic battles that have solidified his status as a true titan of the sport.

As he exercises his authoritative grip over The Bloodline on The Island of Relevancy, Reigns is armed with a formidable and brutal arsenal, making him an almost unstoppable force. Indeed, as The Head of the Table, he reigns supreme with an iron fist and seems poised to continue his reign of terror unabated.

Rhodes went from being an unstoppable force to a Superstar who refused to be defeated. He made a triumphant return to WWE with a singular focus - to become the WWE Champion. Despite a painful pectoral injury, Rhodes battled valiantly and defeated Seth "Freakin" Rollins in a grueling Hell in a Cell Match. After taking time off to rehabilitate, The American Nightmare returned and won the Royal Rumble, setting his sights on dethroning Reigns and capturing the biggest prize in WWE.

Per the betting odds, Cody Rhodes at -550 is the favorite to win against Roman Reigns who stands at +325. It should be noted that there is also strong speculation that Reigns will retain his title to achieve the milestone of being Universal Champion for 1000 days.

WWE Raw Women's Title Match: Bianca Belair(c) Vs. Asuka

At WrestleMania, Bianca Belair will go head-to-head with Asuka in a highly anticipated clash for the coveted Raw Women's Championship.

Since her debut in the squared circle, Bianca Belair has showcased her exceptional athleticism and unmatched strength, making her a force to be reckoned with. As the reigning Raw Women's Champion, she has proven herself to be a true fighting champion by vanquishing all challengers, including top-notch competitors such as Becky Lynch, Bayley, and Alexa Bliss. However, can she overcome the challenge that Asuka poses?

Currently, at the pinnacle of her career, the highly decorated Empress of Tomorrow has combined her formidable in-ring skills with her unpredictable demeanor, successfully outlasting Liv Morgan, Nikki Cross, Raquel Rodriguez, Carmella, and Natalya in the grueling Elimination Chamber match to earn her chance to face The EST of WWE for the Raw Women's Championship on the grandest stage of them all.

According to the latest betting odds Asuka at -140 is the favorite to win against Bianca Belair who stands at +100.

Singles Match: Brock Lesnar Vs. Omos

After enduring months of destruction from the formidable Superstars, "The Conqueror" Brock Lesnar and "The Colossus from Nigeria" Omos will finally face each other in a highly anticipated showdown at WrestleMania 39, the biggest event in professional wrestling.

During a recent episode of Monday Night Raw, Omos and his tag team partner MVP challenged Lesnar, daring the former WWE Champion to face Omos in a one-on-one match and settle once and for all who truly deserves to be called the most dominant force in WWE.

Backed by MVP in his corner, Omos has systematically decimated nearly every opponent that has stood in his way. On the other hand, Lesnar is fresh off one of the toughest tests of his career in his intense feud with "The All Mighty" Bobby Lashley.

According to the latest betting odds, Brock Lesnar at -1500 is the favorite to win against Omos who stands a +600. Brock Lesnar is more arguably one of the biggest stars in WWE, so I don't see him losing against Omos.

Hell in a Cell Match: Edge vs. Finn Bálor

The venomous and bitter feud between Edge and Finn Bálor can only reach its conclusion inside the unforgiving Hell in a Cell structure at WrestleMania.

Nearly a year ago, Edge founded The Judgment Day faction alongside Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley, only to have it stolen away from him in a brutal manner by Finn Bálor. Since then, the Rated-R-Superstar has been on a relentless mission to dismantle the very group he created. He has faced Priest in his hometown of Toronto, helped Rey Mysterio defeat The Judgment Day at SummerSlam, and even engaged in an "I Quit" Match against Bálor at WWE Extreme Rules.

Despite Edge's best efforts, The Judgment Day has continued to grow stronger, most notably with the addition of Dominik Mysterio to its ranks. In their match at Extreme Rules, the menacing faction forced Edge to utter the words "I Quit" before delivering a Con-Chair-To to his wife Beth Phoenix, taking her out of action. The Grit Couple ultimately returned to defeat Bálor and Ripley at WWE Elimination Chamber, but The Prince remained intent on inflicting punishment on The Ultimate Opportunist.

As their rivalry continued to intensify, Edge officially challenged Bálor to a match at WrestleMania on the March 13th episode of Raw, with the added twist that their battle will take place inside the daunting Hell in a Cell structure.

Edge has plenty of experience inside Hell in a Cell, having emerged victorious against Seth "Freakin" Rollins at Crown Jewel 2021 and in a legendary contest against The Undertaker at SummerSlam 2008. Meanwhile, Bálor will be stepping inside the Devil's Playground for the first time. WrestleMania has not hosted a Hell in a Cell match since The Undertaker's triumph over Shane McMahon seven years ago at WrestleMania 32.

According to the latest betting odds, Edge at -160 is the favorite to win against Finn Balor who stands at +120.

Triple threat match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship: Gunther (c) vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus

At WrestleMania, Gunther will defend his Intercontinental Championship against Drew McIntyre and Sheamus in a Triple Threat Match.

On the March 17, 2023, edition of SmackDown, In the midst of their intense battle for the Intercontinental Championship Match at WrestleMania, Drew McIntyre and Sheamus smashed into Gunther.

In response, The Ring General attacked both Superstars and brought an end to the matchup. As a results, WWE Official Adam Pearce determined that both McIntyre and Sheamus will challenge Intercontinental Champion at The Showcase of the Immortals.
