WWE Offered Ticket Refunds To Fans After Learning Of LA Knight Testing Positive For COVID

Glendale, September 25, 2023 - During the September 22 episode of WWE SmackDown, WWE had to make a big change because they had planned something that got canceled unexpectedly from the show.

Fightful later said that Knight was taken out of the show because he tested positive for COVID right before WWE SmackDown and had to leave the place. Originally, he was supposed to be part of the main event.



When they found out that LA Knight had COVID, WWE offered to give back money to the fans who bought tickets. Usually, WWE only announces if a really popular wrestler like Roman Reigns or Seth Rollins can't make it, so this shows how much they value Knight.

Knight started on the main roster in 2022, and he's been one of the top wrestlers there. At first, he was a bad guy, managing a group called "Knight Model Management" and going by Max Dupri.

Later on, Knight went solo, without any allies, and got really famous by fighting against wrestlers like Bray Wyatt and Ricochet. Even though he didn't win a lot, the fans liked him more and more. One of his big wins was when he threw Sheamus out of the ring to win the Slim Jim Battle Royal at SummerSlam this year. His most recent win was at Payback, where he beat The Miz with John Cena as the surprise referee.
