Hollywood megastar, The Rock, has made a comeback to SmackDown.

The electrifying return took place during the main event segment, featuring Roman Reigns and the 2024 Royal Rumble winner, Cody Rhodes. Cody revealed his intention to challenge Reigns for the title, but not at WrestleMania, introducing The Rock to the WWE Universe.



The Rock casually entered the ring, embracing Rhodes and straightforwardly instructing him to step aside. The crowd erupted into chants as the show concluded, with both men locking eyes in a tense stare-down.

Later, it was revealed that a press event for WrestleMania 40 will take place in Las Vegas next Thursday as Rock & Reigns go face-to-face.

The Rock vs. Roman Reigns has been a long-standing idea for WWE, but complications arose after Rhodes won the 2024 Royal Rumble match, seemingly positioning Roman Reigns as his formidable opponent at WrestleMania 40.



For the time being, it remains unclear who will face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania.
