Roman Reigns Poised To Become First Superstar To Hold Same Title At Four Consecutive WrestleManias
Philadelphia, 23 September - Roman Reigns is undeniably one of the top stars in the wrestling world right now. There's no question about that. His current run is truly historic. Over the years, Reigns has been in some major battles. Every single one of his matches has that big fight vibe, especially in the past year with the handful of outstanding matches he's had on pay-per-view.
Since becoming the champion, Reigns has been unstoppable, taking down all the top names in WWE like Brock Lesnar, Cody Rhodes, Seth Rollins, John Cena, and more. This year, he's about to make history as the first superstar to go into WrestleMania as the champion for four straight years. Hulk Hogan was the only other person to do it with three.
Reigns defended his WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 38 in a Triple Threat match against Edge and Bryan. Then, he faced off against Brock Lesnar in a Winner Takes All match at the same event.
At WrestleMania 39, Roman Reigns emerged victorious against Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. If he can keep that championship until then, he'll be the first superstar to go into WrestleMania with the same title four years in a row.
